1. Order Confirmation and Payment By placing an order through our website or email, you are making a binding offer with an obligation to pay. The production process or parts reservation will only begin once the advance payment has been fully credited to our bank account. 2. Right of Withdrawal Exemption (Custom-Made Goods) In accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, consumers generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from online purchases. However, this right does not apply to Steintrikes. Because our tricycles are built-to-order and custom-configured based on your individual specifications and measurements, orders cannot be canceled, and goods cannot be returned without a valid warranty claim once the manufacturing process has begun.
3. Statutory Conformity and Warranty Steintrikes is legally responsible for the conformity of the goods. We provide a statutory conformity guarantee of 2 years (24 months) from the date of delivery, covering any manufacturing or material defects. This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, improper assembly (if not performed by an authorized dealer), lack of maintenance, or misuse. If you experience an issue, please contact us immediately with a description and photos, and we will respond to your claim within the legally mandated timeframe of 8 days.

DELIVERY CONDITIONS
1. Production and Delivery Timeframe Because Steintrikes are custom-made and individually handcrafted to match your specific configuration, production requires significant time. By placing an order, you explicitly agree that the delivery time will exceed the standard statutory 30-day period. Our estimated production and dispatch timeframe is typically up to 6 weeks from the date your advance payment is cleared in our bank account. We will notify you via email as soon as your order is ready for dispatch.
2. Shipping and Transport We ship our tricycles internationally using reliable courier services or freight forwarders. The exact shipping costs are calculated based on the destination country, the weight, and the dimensions of the specific tricycle model, and will be communicated to you before final order confirmation.
3. Customs, Taxes, and Import Duties (For International Orders) Steintrikes is based in and ships from the Republic of Serbia (a non-EU country). All prices on our website are exclusive of local VAT, import duties, and customs clearance fees. When your order arrives in your country, you act as the importer of record. You are strictly responsible for paying all applicable taxes, customs duties, and administrative fees required by your local border or customs authorities before the goods can be delivered to your address.
4. Passing of Risk The risk of accidental loss, damage, or destruction of the goods passes to you (the buyer) at the moment the courier hands over the package to you or a third party authorized by you to receive it.
5. Package Inspection and Shipping Damage Claims (Important Procedure) Upon delivery, you are legally obligated to inspect the external packaging in the presence of the courier.
If you notice any visible damage to the box or packaging, you must point it out to the courier immediately and request them to issue a formal Damage Report (or have them note the damage on the delivery receipt).
Please take clear photographs of the damaged packaging before opening it.
Without a formal damage report made in the presence of the courier, we cannot process claims for transit damage or offer replacements/refunds for issues caused during shipping.
Ordering conditions
Once you have selected your desired product, you must fill out the purchase order form and submit it either to an authorized dealer or directly to office@steintrikes.com. The information provided in the purchase order must be accurate and complete. Failure to provide correct information may result in production delays, delivery issues, or order cancellation. Please note that once the order is confirmed, any subsequent changes to the purchase order are subject to the manufacturer's approval and may incur additional costs, which will be borne by the customer.
Data Protection: All user data is strictly accessible only to authorized personnel who require this information to process your order, production, and payment. The manufacturer and distributors are legally obligated to protect and keep confidential all personal data collected during the ordering process, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
VAT, shipping etc.
The prices displayed on our website are base prices meant for export to countries without authorized distributors or dealers. Because our tricycles are customizable, the final price will depend on the specific equipment, configuration, and options you select.
Taxes and Duties: VAT and shipping costs are NOT included in the prices shown on the website. Local VAT, import taxes, and customs duties depend entirely on the importing country's regulations and are strictly the responsibility of the buyer. These additional fees are not included in our final price.
